I Got My Hair Cut

Yesterday, my mom took me to get my hair cut. First, I went there to get my hair done, then I waited on the chairs and colored. When it was my turn, I sat in a baby chair. When I was all done, I got to go home and I showed daddy.

I like my hair because it is pretty and no more snarls.

I Want to Go Home

This is Mariah's account of our Sunday morning church experience. We visited a new church...

I woke up and watched tv and then I ate breakfast and got dressed. Then we went to church and I fell down on the snow and it tickled a lot. When I got into church I was REALLY good. Sometimes I was good and sometimes I was bad. I listened to the music. My sister was in her class with her teacher and her friends reading books and playing with her friends. I wanted to go to class but I couldn't (there was no class because of the holidays). The other kids went on stage to sing and I couldn't and I was REALLY mad, but mom gave me gum and then I was good. Then we went home and I had hot chocolate.

Christmas Night

Mom: Well, Christmas is over.

Mariah: Yeah. Now what's next?

Mom: Nothing. We are staying home tomorrow I think.

Mariah: No, what is next, like Easter or what?

Mom: Oh, um, next week is New Year's.

Mariah: YES!! With like dragons and stuff?!

Mom: Um, no. No, dragons. We'll talk tomorrow about what New Year's is. (She is thinking Chinese New Year, little smartie)

Winter Wonderland

Today my dad took me on an adventure!

We went exploring, climbing the mountains of snow in the Walmart parking lot. I couldn't climb to the top, so my daddy helped me. He told me to follow in his footsteps, and we climbed and climbed and climbed all the way...

Then we made a tunnel in the snow and threw snowballs at cars passing by.

I Got a Camera for Christmas!

I celebrated Christmas with my mom's family this past weekend and I got a camera from my grandma and Papi (thank you, thank you, thank you). I was so excited and I started taking pictures right away. Mom and dad opened this blog for me so I can put my pictures on the computer. I hope you enjoy looking at things from my angle.
